FBiH: In June Most Tourists from Italy and Turkey

turistiIn June, the total number of tourist arrived in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 60 623,  which represents 5.7 percent less than in June 2013. When compared to May 2014, the number is less for 5.1 percent.

The share of domestic tourists was 25.5 percent and 74.5 percent of foreign tourists.

In addition, in June, the total number of overnight stays was 119 364 which is for 4.0 percent less than in June 2013. When compared to May of 2014, the number was lower by 1.0 percent.

The most overnight stays was booked by tourists from Italy (11.5 percent), Turkey (11.0 percent), Croatia (8.7 percent), France (6.3 percent), Poland (5.4 percent) and Germany (4.6 percent). In total it gives the number of 47.5 percent. Tourists from other countries realized 52.5 percent overnight stays.

The number of beds in June 2014 was 19 852 which is 10.9 percent more than in June 2013.
