FBiH Parliament Debates Stricter Penalties for Violence Against Women

The session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH will be held today, and the deputies are also expected to consider the Draft Law on Protection from Domestic Violence and Violence against Women in the Federation of BiH.

Also on the agenda are proposed amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, and the Law on Allocation and Direction of Part of Enterprise Revenues Generated from the Operation of Thermal Power Plants.

The deputies are also expected to consider the strategy for long-term renovation of buildings in the Federation of BiH for the period until 2050, the strategy for the development of the textile, clothing, leather and footwear industry in the Federation of BiH for the period 2024-2033, and the debt management strategy for 2024-2026.

Also on the agenda is information on the undertaken and planned activities and results in the rehabilitation and reconstruction of areas affected by floods.

The deputies are also expected to consider the initiative of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Edina Gabela, to amend the Constitution of the Federation of BiH.

The start of the session, which was previously scheduled for January 28, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., the Federal Parliament announced.
