FBiH President Spoke with Resident Representative of UNDP for BiH

yuri afanasievThe FBiH President Živko Budimir spoke with Yuri Afanasiev, the Resident Representative of the UNDP to BiH yesterday in Sarajevo.

The topic of the meeting was the support of a dedicated industry aimed at the destruction of surplus explosives, as well as the support for the launch of production and new jobs.

The meeting was constructive and focused on “Vitezit”, a firm for the defense industry that the UNDP will provide support for the destruction of surplus obsolete weapons. “Vitezit” will soon receive a certificate to legally obtain a permit for the destruction of mines and explosives and ammunition where they are located. The UNDP and other international organizations will give full support in the training of personnel to operate the new equipment to destroy mines and other explosives.

Also, they opened talks on starting production in this factory in order to create new jobs.
