FBiH Tax Administration Releases Sales Data from Store Boycott Days

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH published data today after a boycott of shops, cafes, restaurants and gas stations due to high prices was carried out in BiH on Friday and Saturday, February 7 and 8, and was initiated by an informal group of citizens on social networks in order to draw attention to the increase in the prices of food products, as well as other products and services.

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH notes that the data on total turnover in the Federation of BiH and the data on total turnover in shops include the total turnover of goods and services in retail and wholesale carried out by business entities on a certain date.

According to official data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, on February 6 this year, a total turnover of 205,226,808.31 BAM was recorded in the territory of the Federation of BiH. Turnover in shops in the territory of the Federation of BiH on that day amounted to a total of 105,339,993.86 BAM.

On Friday, February 7, the total turnover in the Federation of BiH was recorded at 190,144,339.49 BAM. The turnover in shops in the Federation of BiH on that day amounted to 93,549,831.65 BAM.

On Saturday, February 8, the total turnover in the Federation of BiH amounted to 73,735,142.18 BAM. The turnover in shops in the Federation of BiH on that day amounted to 47,738,989.66 BAM.
