Federal Government allocated 250 Million BAM for Pensioners

In accordance with the Law on MIO/PIO, pensions for the month of May will be paid through the single treasury account of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Monday, June 5, the Federal Institute of MIO/PIO reported.

According to the decision of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on extraordinary adjustment, pensions for May were increased by 3.9 percent. Accordingly, the lowest pension amounts to 538.27 BAM, guaranteed 642.40, while the highest pension amounts to 2,626.42 BAM.

The average pension of independent pension beneficiaries, of whom 358,471 are being paid for May, amounts to 674.68 BAM.

436,337 beneficiaries will receive their pension for May, and the total funds required for payment amount to about 250 million marks.
