The Prime Minister of the Federation, Nermin Nikšić, announced greater involvement of the authorities in the fight against corruption and organized crime.
He noted that at the end of the first mandate of the federal prime minister in 2014, he took concrete steps to form a special department of the entity prosecutor’s office that will fight crime and organized crime, calling it the “Federal USKOK”.
Nikšić pointed out that he spoke with the representatives of the Hugh Judicial Prosecutor Council in order to finally begin the formation of special departments of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office and the Supreme Court of the Federation that will deal with it.
According to him, the Federal Government will help in all technical aspects, and the intention is to apply international standards in the fight against corruption and organized crime.
