Federal Minister of the Interior Ramo Isak condemned the threats directed by Amir Gross Kabiri, president of M. T. Abraham Group and vice president of Zrinjski, to the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić.

“Police officers of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) are actively working on the case related to the threats sent by Amir Gross Kabiri to the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić. I am convinced that the police officers of the Federal Police Administration will professionally, responsibly and in a quick period of time take actions within their jurisdiction , and all in order to prevent unacceptable abuse and insults to which the mayor of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina was exposed,” said Isak.

He said that “Bosnia and Herzegovina and its capital, especially taking into account the historical context, will never be on the wrong side of history, and foreign citizens like Amir Gross Kabiri should be well aware that they are only guests in our country and that they must behave in accordance with the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

“I give full support to the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, in clearly expressing her views, humanity, but also the courage she showed,” said Isak, the Federal Ministry of the Interior announced today.

President of Abraham Group and CEO of Aluminij, Amir Gross Kabiri, announced himself again on the X.com platform after the lawsuit brought against him by the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić.

Namely, he has now announced himself on social networks and stated that the mayor of Sarajevo is using political influence to, as he says, silence him.

“Using governmental institutions to silent a legitimate criticism of public servants is essence of dictatorship, and BiH is a democracy. In an attempt to prevent me from raising my opinion Benjamina Karic is utilizing her political position to shut me down. She won’t be successful,” Kabiri said.

The mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, filed a criminal complaint to the Federal Police Administration against the president of the Abraham Group and the executive director of Aluminij, Amir Gross Kabiri.

Karić wrote on her Facebook profile that she was forced to make this move due to, as she says, months of daily harassment by Kabiri.

“I became the target of this man the moment I did not allow the plaque on the City Hall to be covered for the purpose of celebrating the State of Israel Day, and to several other requests that I considered provocative, although I was ready to give in to everything else. The attacks became more brutal the moment I publicly condemned the killing of innocent civilians in Palestine, but also the killing of innocent civilians in Israel,” Karić wrote.

According to her, Amir Gross Kabiri sent her photos of murdered children through social networks, accused her of supporting Hamas, and condemned her condemnation of the killing of civilians in Gaza.

“With his posts, he motivates and invites his supporters to do the same. He shares and sends videos and photos of brutal murders and abuse to me personally with messages that I perceived as a threat to the safety of not only me personally, but also my family, telling me in them that ‘history will judge me very soon’, and that my views ‘will not be forgiven’, etc.,” adds the mayor.

The mayor of Sarajevo points out that she reported the director of Aluminij, although she did not intend to, because of the increasingly frequent messages that made her feel afraid for herself and her child.

In addition to the report to the Federal Police Administration, Karić also announces a lawsuit for defamation.
