Federal Police Administration raised the Level of Preparedness

Federal Minister of Interior Ramo Isak spoke out after police officers from the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska prevented police officers from the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) from detaining entity President Milorad Dodik in the area of East Sarajevo.

I spoke with the Director of the Federal Police Administration Vahidin Munjić, who informed me that the Federal Police Administration immediately raised the level of alert, and that members of the Special Police Unit were also sent to the base, Isak said.

The Federal Police Administration is ready to act immediately and provide assistance to the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) if it receives an order to do so from state judicial institutions, the minister stressed.

“I call on the chief inspectors and responsible persons in SIPA to get serious. Sending several inspectors to the Administrative Center of the RS Government in East Sarajevo with the order to try to detain Milorad Dodik, all without the assistance of the SIPA Special Unit, really casts doubt on the ability of the state agency to ensure consistent compliance with the law throughout its territory or speaks of the inability of management personnel to analyze and plan the successful execution of an operational action,” Minister Isak’s reaction states.

Let us recall that members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) attempted to detain entity President Milorad Dodik tonight at the administrative center of the Republika Srpska Government in East Sarajevo, SIPA confirmed to BHRT.
