The Federal Police Administration (FPA) marked the Police Day in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday in Sarajevo with a ceremonial parade.
The ceremonial parade with the participation of police officers with vehicles, including specialist police vehicles "Bov", motorcycles, quads and civilian police vehicles, was held on the route Vraca - Skenderija - City Hall - Eternal Fire - Skenderija - Marijin Dvor - Dolac Malta - Vraca.
The parade, which aims to present part of the FPA forces and the capacities they use to create a safe environment, was accompanied by a helicopter from the Federal Police Administration, which is also an integral part of the ceremony.
"Today is our day and today, through the program we have prepared, we will present ourselves to the public, who we are, what we are and what resources we have at our disposal. All organizational units of the FPA are participating in the parade ", said Nermin Sehovic, an employee of the Federal Police Administration.
According to him, they are satisfied with the work they are doing.
"We need to help, strengthen the country and be an increasing and safer factor that will contribute to BiH, the Federation of BiH and its citizens being as safe as possible. I believe that we are sufficiently trained and equipped to be able to respond to the tasks set before us by the courts, prosecutor's offices and to respond to the challenges that are the trend in committing crimes, "said Sehovic, BHRTwrites.
