The Turkish Super Cup match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce was interrupted after the Fener players left the field in the 2nd minute.
The match was played at the stadium in the city of Sanliurfa, and the Fenerbahçe team, as a sign of protest against the Football Association of Turkey, took to the field with the under-19 team.
In the first minute of the game, Galatasaray already led 1:0 with a goal by Mauro Icardi.
The Fenerbahçe team did not want to continue the match after that and left the field, so the referee officially stopped the game.
In this way, Fenerbahce expressed their dissatisfaction with the date of the Cup match, which does not suit them, and with the selection of referees.
The final decision on the suspension of the game will be made by the Board of Directors of the Football Association of Turkey, AA writes.
