Festival of Animated Film “Banja Luka 2013”

banjalukaThe sixth edition of the festival of animated film in Banja Luka “Banja Luka 2013” from 23rd to 28th October will be held in the form of a movie show.

In accordance with the concept of the festival to present one of the major national animated films of cinema, this year the focus of the festival will be a Japanese animation, which will be presented with two programs organized by ASIFA Japan.

The festival will screen 150 films, of which 66 are for the competition program.

Animated Film Festival in Banja Luka is supported by the World Association of Animated Films (ASIFA), which has partnerships with many European festivals, and is part of the coalition “CARTOON D’OR” (European Association of Animated Film) as one of the most important European Animated Film Festival, which takes part in the nomination of Animated Film award for the most significant European animated films.

Sponsor of the festival is Ministry of Education and Culture of the RS and the total budget of the festival is 18.500 KM.
