FIFA_and_UEFAThe World Football Association (FIFA) and the European Football Association (UEFA) have donated a significant amount of money for the rehabilitation of the football infrastructure in the areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina endangered by  last year’s floods.

FIFA responded positively to the application of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and donated 600.000 dollars. A positive response to the Association also came from UEFA, which helped with 500.000 euros.

One of a series of humanitarian projects of the Football Association of BiH will be realized by the mediation of the entity commission, but also by the mediation of the commission at State Association level, which consists of members of the Executive Board from cities affected by floods in 2014.

“We have also engaged the court experts who will evaluate the damage, so everything will be objective and transparent. We will focus funds from FIFA and UEFA directly to the contractors on stadiums, so as to ensure the  money is spent entirely in the reconstruction of flood- damaged infrastructure“, said Jasmin Bakovic, General Secretary of the FABiH.
