About 4 hours passed until his next call. During that time he killed three more people. His response was while the police of Tuzla Canton were actively looking for him. “From receiving the information to sitting down, it takes five minutes for the system to locate where it was last time,” answers investigator Saša Petrović.

“We must act more energetically, promptly and try – in this way we certainly do not send a good image to potential victims. Unfortunately, I often get frustrated when I hear – you have everything at your disposal. However, not everything is available. It would have been available in this case if it had been done much earlier, to control the actions of the police administrations, how they act upon the report”, warns Nedžad Korajlić, professor at the Faculty of Criminology, Criminology and Security Studies.
And there is no such emotion that will not overwhelm a healthy person today. Who else is responsible in the chain of those who are obliged and responsible to protect citizens?
“A man can only be dumbfounded. Personally, if I could, I would take anyone who raises a hand to a woman or a child to a court of law. Such people should never see the light of day again. Unfortunately, things like this are becoming more common in the world, in the region and in our country. Centers for social work, the police have a great responsibility – to protect victims in time. Women should not suffer and tolerate any raised tone. Here we also have problems with the fact that our society does not pay attention to the mental health of citizens. Once again, I want to express my condolences to all the families of the victims,” said BiH Security Minister Nenad Nešić.
