Filling the City Budget in Bijeljina Better than Last Year

Filling the city budget in Bijeljina in the first two months of this year was better by eight percent than in the same period last year.

The mayor of the city department of finance Milorad Sofrenić said for SRNA agency that the property tax was collected by almost 80 percent, which is one of the best results in the RS.

Monthly savings from decreasing salaries of 10 percent of the city budget users were around 100.000 KM.

Sofrenić said that Bijeljina until now has reconciled around 7 million KM of debt from last year, and that the remaining obligations from the city budget are currently around 2 million KM.

The budget for the city for 2013 was 47 million KM.
