Finalized Proposal of the PARP Document, Consideration at the NATO-Brussels Meeting

As part of a two-day meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the NATO Headquarters from Brussels on the occasion of the preparation of the document proposal of the Planning and Review Process (PARP) for the year 2023, Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH for Policy and Plans Slaven Galić held a meeting with the director Directorate for Defense and Security Cooperation of NATO by Piers Cazalet.

During a separate meeting, Galić and Cazalet discussed the current activities of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting was also an opportunity to praise the activities of all actors who worked for the drafting of the document proposal of the Planning and Audit Process for 2023.

The interlocutors also expressed the importance of maintaining standards and continuing to develop operational capabilities and achieving interoperability of the BiH Armed Forces with NATO forces.

After a separate meeting, Galić and Cazalet joined the participants of the meeting of the representatives of the NATO Headquarters from Brussels, the heads of the organizational units of the BiH MoD and the representatives of the Armed Forces of BiH, NATO from Brussels and Naples and NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, who during the two-day meeting finalized proposal of the PARP document, which will be considered in October of the current year at the NATO multilateral meeting in Brussels.

Actors of the meeting, which was held on July 3 and 4 at the House of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, concluded that significant progress had been made in terms of the realization of 34 partnership goals for which the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are responsible, and among other things, they concern the area building integrity, cyber security, personnel management system, building defense capacities and others, and expressed commitment to continue commitment to achieving strategic goals in terms of NATO integration, announced the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defense of BiH.
