Representative in BiH Parliament Senad Šepić was in Helsinki, on the call of International Democratic Union (IDU) and participated in the work of Executive Committee of this Crown Association of Conservative Parties of the World.
On that occasion, Šepić met with numerous officials from Europe and the world, among them David Lidington, Minister for Europe in the UK government, with Marti Ahtisaari, former Finnish president and international mediator for former Yugoslavia and Kosovo, and with Prime Minister of Finland Jurky Katainen.
‘Finland and Prime Minister Katainen especially, support the enlargement of the EU and they are ready to actively help on our European path. This developed nation, with 5.5 million people is the first on the list of the least corrupted countries in the world. Its development is based on investments in the education sector which is considered the best system of education in the world. The country invests the most in education, research and new technologies and that’s why they have such a good standard of living today’, said Šepić.
