School bells rang on Monday in two elementary, six district schools and the Secondary School Center in Srebrenica and there were 517 students enrolled in primary schools, of which 64 were first graders.
Dragi Jovanovic, principal of the First Elementary School in Srebrenica, says that everything is ready for the beginning of the school year, adding that the rooms are well maintained, teaching equipment is provided, as well as the necessary professional staff.
The director of the Secondary School Center in Srebrenica, Momcilo Cvjetinovic, told Avaz newspapers that the school was ready to welcome this year and that 122 students were enrolled in the first grades, which is 92 more than planned.
“Thanks to a donation from the Bulgarian Embassy in BiH, the heating of the school premises was restored, and the Municipality of Srebrenica replaced 15 student benches and 30 chairs,” Cvjetinovic emphasized.
