In the area of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, 13 wildfires have been recorded in the last 24 hours, four in Mostar and Capljina, two in Citluk and Neum and one in Konjic.

The wildfire on Mount Visocica, above the village Grusca near Konjic, is localized. Supervision and additional irrigation of the terrain is still underway, and the Konjic municipality’s fire department and forestry workers in Prenj are engaged in wildfire extinguishing.

The helicopter of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Armed Forces did not operate due to heavy fog on Borac Lake and strong wind.

Other wildfires, where mostly grass, low vegetation and waste are burning, were successfully extinguished.
