The first international culinary master cup Sarajevo 2014 will take place on Friday and Saturday in Sarajevo.
The aim of the event, which is organized for the first time in B&H, is to gather professionals from the culinary arts in one area, from B&H, other Balkan countries and all over Europe to exchange experiences and to advance the profession on a global level.
National and regional teams from neighboring countries and abroad will compete, restaurants, hotel and junior teams from Italy, Slovenia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Romania and B&H.
There will be six workshops in traditional Croatian cuisine with lecturer Branko Ognjenović, Slovenian traditional cuisine with Tomaž Vozelj, traditional cooking with chef Ljubiša Stojanović, carving with Marjan Bošnjak and Dražen Safar, Halal standards with Valdet Pestalic from the Agency for Halal Standards, Wine workshops on wine in hospitality, serving wine and food with Hamid Kurjaković and oenologist Nela Medić.
The Director of the ‘World Culinary Association’ (WACS) for Southern Europe Srećko Koklić confirmed his arrival, and he will use this opportunity to plan the European Culinary Congress in Sarajevo in 2015.
