The 1st International Contemporary Women Festival was presented yesterday in the Crystal Hall of the Hotel Tuzla, and attendees were addressed by the General Director of the Festival Zlatko Berbic, the President of the Management Board Edina Seleskovic, General Sponsor; director of Oktal Pharm, Semin Kasum, as well as Slavena Vojinovic, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of  TC, Dzelmina Huremovic, the Assistant Minister for Trade and Tourism of TC, and Asja Redzic, the Head of Department for Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs of the city of Tuzla.

“The festival represents a sublimation of all  experiential, organizational and practical things that we have done so far. This is the largest social event in Tuzla, and it made us gather hundreds of the best and most successful women from the region, and five continents. We are bringing the entire international community, we are bringing the most successful ones here. Our goal is mutual networking of women, creating new values, and breaking these artificially made borders through communication as well as giving a great quality to everyone,” stated Berbic.

“We will not talk about the problems, we will talk about solutions instead, about the way in which women have achieved something and succeeded, and thus, we wish to inspire young women to take their own destiny into their hands. If ten women in the audience say ‘If she can – so can I,’ we will consider it as our great success,” stated Seleskovic.

There will be hundreds of speakers from different spheres of life, more than 40 panels and more than 500 people.

The most successful women from all spheres of life, will directly participate in the creation of the Tuzla Declaration through dialogue and presentation of their work and they will present it to all levels of government in BiH and the region with their joint signature.

Within the Festival will be held fair of crafts in the Bingo City Center Tuzla.
