Yellow Meteoalarm issued for the wider area of BiH this Afternoon?

rainFederal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH (FHMZ BiH) issued a yellow meteoalarm for the area of Banja Luka, Prijedor, Tuzla, Bihac, Sarajevo and Visegrad, due to the storm that will affect these areas today.

According to FHMZ BiH, after a sunny morning are expected thunderstorms that will affect the aforementioned areas during the day.

This kind of storms and yellow warning represent potentially dangerous weather conditions.

Showers and thunders are expected in Bosnia in the second part of the day, while weather in Herzegovina will be stable. A stronger storm is expected in northern areas of BiH, while arrival of frontal disturbance from the west is expected in the evening, and it will move to the east in the evening hours. It will be accompanied by rain, showers and a drop of temperature.

Highest daily temperature in Krajina will be between 19 °C and 24 °C, and the highest daily temperature in most parts of BiH will be between 25 °C and 30 °C.
