Delegation of the Ministry of Defense of B&H, led by the Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić was hosted on Wednesday in Beijing by the Chinese Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Chang Wanquan.
During the official meeting of the delegations of two ministries a high level of bilateral cooperation was highlighted and it was concluded that the cooperation needs to be further improved and expanded.
The Minister of Defense of China, Lieutenant General Chang Wanquan expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Defense of B&H for the efforts done so far in the implementation of the agreed objectives.
Wanquan and Osmić agreed in their assessment to complete by the end of 2013 the procedures of signing the Agreement on cooperation in the field of defense between the Ministry of Defense of China and the Council of Ministers of B&H.
At the end of the official meeting, the Minister of Defense of China, Lieutenant General Chang Wanquan accepted the invitation of Osmić to visit the B&H Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of B&H next year.
