Agreks Consumer Egg Production Company from Donji Zabar exported the first quantities of 302,400 pieces of consumer eggs for industrial production to the European Union market, for one Croatian company.

Agreks CEO Predrag Milicic said he would deliver the same amount of eggs to another Croatian company next week, with which they also contracted.

“It is our estimation that in the first few months this will be on the market, that is, the factories of Croatia. At the same time we are negotiating with two other factories from Austria and Italy,” said Milicic.

He recalled that Agreks was the only company in BiH to receive official confirmation from Brussels on December 24 last year that it was on the list of exporters of eggs for industrial processing from BiH, and that they started their first preparations earlier this year.

He noted that this business step for the company means a lot because they were given the opportunity to enter the market with 500 million people, which implies that they passed all the checks of domestic and European institutions, Biznis Info news portal reports.
