BiH Minister of Foreign Commerce and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović and Minister of Foreign and Internal Commerce and Telecommunications of Serbia Rasim Ljajić will lead delegations of BIH and Serbia on the first session of Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between BIH and Serbia, which will be held in Belgrade on 18 and 19 March.
The first session of the Commission will be held as a part of the implementation of the Agreement on Economic Cooperation between BiH Council of Ministers and Government of Serbia, which was signed on 27 March 2009 and entered into force on 1 April 2010.
Delegations of BiH and Serbia should during the session discuss the overall bilateral cooperation and analyse the current degree of development of trade and economic relations with the aim of intensifying the overall economic cooperation and improving the foreign investments.
During the session, they will talk about the possibilities of intensifying the cooperation in the fields of trade, investments, agriculture, communications, over-border cooperation, cooperation in the field of SME, cooperation on the third-world markets, and other fields of mutual interest.
During the visit minister Šarović and Minister of Health of RS Slavica Đukić-Dejanović will sign a Protocol between Ministry of Health of Serbia and BiH Ministry of Foreign Commerce and Economic Relations on mutual recognition and acceptance of documents which were issued by accredited laboratories for goods.
After the signing of Protocol between BiH Ministry of Foreign Commerce and Economic Relations and Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management of Serbia on Mutual cooperation and acceptance of documents issues by accredited labs for food and food of animal and plant origin and mixed origin on 6 April 2012, this new protocol would encompass water, dietary products and supplements which are in the competency of Ministry of Health of Serbia.
