The Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda spoke yesterday with the Head of the World Bank Office in BiH Anabel Abreu on the current political and economic situation in BiH and during the realization of the conditions from the Letter of Intent that was sent to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

They noted that cooperation is at an excellent level and that it resulted in measures that continuously act towards the strengthening of the economic system, which also has economic growth as a goal.

Bevanda spoke to Abreu on the agreed implementation of additional financing for small and medium-sized businesses worth 120 million US dollars and the implementation of the irrigation project worth 40 million US dollars.

Abreu said that the fiscal consolidation measures and structural reforms led by the BiH Council of Ministers has the full support of the World Bank.

It was concluded that these policies continue to be implemented in the coming period with the goal to accelerate the strengthening of public finances.
