The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at a telephone session today, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, adopted a Decision adopting the Program for the Expenditure of Funds Determined by the Budget of the Federation of BiH for 2026 to this Ministry for the Program “Management of the Industry and Special Purpose Industry” within the framework of Capital Transfers to Public Enterprises – Pretis d.d. for the construction of a facility for the production of explosives (gunpowder), in the amount of 5,000,000 BAM.

As stated, among other things, by the proposer, this program is the result of the strategic commitment of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to strengthen and modernize the special purpose industry, with a focus on improving the capacities of the company Pretis d.d. Vogošća, as one of the key carriers of production in this sector.

This program represents not only an investment in the defense sector, but also direct support for the development of Pretis d.d. Vogošća as a strategically important economic entity, and an investment in human capital and the innovation potential of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The implementation of the planned activities creates the preconditions for stable growth, increased competitiveness and long-term development of society and the entire economy.

Through this investment, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirms its commitment to strengthening its own security and industrial development, while simultaneously creating conditions for technological progress, new jobs and general prosperity of society, the FBiH Government Public Relations Office announced.
