Flight from London Gatwick to Sarajevo is officially established

TUI, one of the world’s leading tourism groups, launched the first winter program in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A flight from London Gatwick to Sarajevo was established, which made fans of skiing, snowboarding and other winter activities happy that they can come to Sarajevo and enjoy the Olympic mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The weekly program is led by Crystal Ski, the largest British ski tour operator, and includes Bjelašnica and Jahorina mountains as the two main ski centers in our country.

TUI’s decision is the result of successful negotiations that the Sarajevo International Airport started with the aforementioned airline last May at the European Routes in Bergen, as well as the innovative incentive scheme offered by the Sarajevo International Airport, which was developed in 2022 in partnership with USAID Developing Sustainable Tourism Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Tourism).

This innovative scheme enables airlines and tour operators to carry out operations with their fleet of planes at competitive prices, which makes BiH an even more attractive and accessible European destination, the Sarajevo International Airport announced.
