The capital city of Croatia, Zagreb, and the largest city of Herzegovina, Mostar, are now connected by flight after a total of 12 years.

A regular airline was established thanks to cooperation between the Airport Mostar and Croatia Airlines and the subsidy provided by the Government of the FBiH,  and the price of a return ticket is 89 EUR.

Thus, the “Dash 8 Q400” aircraft, which can accommodate 76 passengers, will fly from Zagreb to Mostar on Thursday and Sunday at 10.10 p.m., and from Mostar to Zagreb on Monday and Friday at 6.05 a.m.

“I am happy that this line was opened again. The flight is short, everything is great, and there is a great comfort. Thanks to this line, I managed to attend my friend’s wedding,” stated Ivana Balic from Rijeka.

After Zagreb, Mostar will be connected with the cities of Dusseldorf and Stuttgart in a few days as well. New flights will be introduced two times a week by the German “Eurowings” on May 16.

Interest in these flights is really great, and they are quite filled. It is an airplane with around 77 places, and offered destinations are more than attractive, according to one of the leading people at the Airport Mostar, Marko Djuzel.
