Heavy rainfall in our country caused the Lasva, Grlovica, and Bila rivers to overflow, as well as several hill and mountain streams.

The most severe situation is in the area of Gladnik near Nova Bila, the local population is still fighting with water and trying to get water out of flooded buildings.

Road communication is difficult, and in some places, it has been completely cut off. Civil protection is on the ground and the municipal mayor Kenan Dautovic said that all available forces are on the ground.

Heavy rains two nights ago caused flooding in several places in the Lasva Valley. Locals point out that one of the reasons for the flooding is the construction site of the expressway located in the immediate vicinity.

The presidents of local communities, representatives of Travnik Municipality, and construction operatives are on the ground, and as they say, the situation is difficult but better than two nights ago.

Part of the residential buildings was flooded, and embankments are currently being installed to protect other buildings from flooding.

All endangered residents were sheltered from the water and moved out of flooded buildings.
