The heavy rain caused problems for the residents of the Neretva valley, especially in Čapljina and, on the Croatian side, in Metković.
The basements of family houses, as well as agricultural areas, were flooded.
A lot of problems were also recorded in the area of Neum, the Čapljnski portal reported. It is said that the rainfall caused difficulties on the roads and that many buildings in that municipality were flooded.
The football match between “Široki Brijeg” and “Željezničar” in Čitluk was also canceled because the field was completely flooded.
Heavy rain is falling throughout Herzegovina, which will gradually weaken and stop tonight.
The “BHMeteo.ba” portal reports that more and more sand is arriving from the north of Africa, so it is about “dirty rain”.
