These days, Sarajevo is celebrating the fifth anniversary of connecting Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by direct airline.

On this occasion, a ceremony was held in Sarajevo, which was attended by numerous guests, among them ambassadors from Arab countries, representatives of the FBiH Government, representatives of the Rijaset of the Islamic Community in BiH, the Tourist Board of CS, Sarajevo International Airport, as well as representatives of USAID and travel agencies throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We are glad that this year the FLYNAS airline managed to maintain flights throughout the year between Sarajevo and Jeddah, that is, three times a week. We are especially pleased that for the next summer season we are planning at least 14 flights a week, daily direct flights to Jeddah and Riyadh.” , said Suad Drpljanin, owner and director of the travel agency Bosnia Travel and representative of the company FLYNAS for Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that the company is proud that the airline FLYNAS is the official carrier of the Bosnian pilgrims for 2024.

During the summer season, FLYNAS airline services are mostly used by guests from the Arab Gulf countries who visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, and during the winter season by citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries to perform Umran rituals.

The company is convinced that the liberalization of the visa regime for citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will ensure a record number of tourists from this Gulf country this year, Sarajevo International Airport announced.
