Banja Luka Bema pressrs.baThe Technical Director of the Banja Luka Shoe Factory “Bema” Marinko Umičević said that the initial contact with the Russian businessmen has been established, and that the production for the Russian market should come to realization very soon.

‘’Sometime around the middle of this week, through the representatives of the businessmen from the Republic of Srpska in Moscow, ‘’Bema’’ was visited by the delegation of Russian entrepreneurs in order to start the production of footwear for the Russian market, where ‘’Bema’’ demonstrated its capabilities’’, Umičević said.

He thanked the Chamber of Commerce of RS as an intermediary, the Representation of the Republic of Srpska in Moscow, as well as the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik for help in establishing contacts with the businessmen from Russia.

“We believe that the production of footwear for the Russian market would be a big step forward for the shoe factory ‘’Bema’’ and the Republic of Srpska”, said Umičević.

He stated that “Bema”, as a socially responsible business entity, donated one pair of shoes and a leather belt to the finalists of the Football Cup of the Republic of Srpska, the team of the FC “Krupa”.

Umičević explained that it is a donation of 37 pairs of shoes and 37 leather belts worth 6.000 BAM, adding that the factory called the model of the shoe made for the FC “Krupa” the “Krupljanke”.
