Director of the Tax Administration of the Republika Srpska, Goran Maričić, said that in the period January-July, 2.812 billion KM was collected at the expense of public revenues of the RS, which is 257.9 million KM or 10 percent more than in the same period last year.
Maričić stated that in the comparative period, the collection of social security contributions was higher by nine percent, the collection based on direct taxes by 11 percent, and the collection of other public revenues by 13 percent.
“When it comes to contributions, the collection in the period January-July amounted to 1.722 billion KM, which is 141.4 million KM more than in the same period in 2025, whereby the collection of contributions for the PIO Fund is eight percent higher, while the collection of contributions for the Health Insurance Fund, the Employment Institute and the Child Protection Fund are each higher by 10 percent,” Maričić emphasized.
He pointed out that direct taxes were collected in seven months of this year in the amount of 692.7 million KM, which is 70.2 million KM more than in the comparative period of the previous year, the Tax Administration announced.
Maričić said that the largest collection of direct taxes was achieved in the case of profit tax, which was collected in the amount of about 329.2 million KM, which is an increase of seven percent.
“Income tax, which was collected in the amount of about 321.7 million KM, which is 16 percent more than in the comparative period, also recorded an increase in collection. The collection growth was also achieved in the case of real estate tax, which was collected in the amount of 28.6 million KM, which is 13 percent more than in the same period last year,” Maričić pointed out.
According to him, the collection of other public revenues this year amounted to 397.5 million KM, which is 46.3 million KM more than in January-July last year.
203.4 million KM or 17 percent more were collected on the basis of taxes and fees, and the same percentage growth was recorded on the basis of fees for organizing games of chance.
“In July, the collection amounted to 404.4 million KM, which is 24.7 million KM or seven percent more compared to July of the previous year,” said Maričić.
