Authorities in BiH Seized Goods worth almost 100 Thousand Euros

Officials of the Directorate for Indirect Taxation in the area of the Tuzla regional center temporarily confiscated a large amount of gold and silver jewelry and textile products. The total value of temporarily confiscated goods is estimated at 194,500 BAM.

Controls on the ground were carried out at five independent entrepreneurs where it was determined that there was no documentation on the origin for a certain amount of gold and silver jewelry, announced the Administration for Indirect Taxation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On that occasion, a large amount of jewelry was confiscated, the market value of which is estimated at 137,200 BAM.

In the operational action “Transit”, a detailed inspection and search of a cargo motor vehicle was carried out, in accordance with the instructions and instructions of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On that occasion, 735 pieces of textile products intended for the “black market” of Bosnia and Herzegovina were temporarily confiscated. The market value of the seized goods is estimated at 57,300 BAM.

A Report on the committed criminal offense and the perpetrator will be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina against the suspect, and due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the criminal offense of Smuggling was committed, the UIOBiH stated.
