Footwear produced in Bijeljina for the Market of Italy

Mayor of Bijeljina Mico Micic recently visited the family company Kondor D.M. Ltd., which is dealing with the manufacturing of leather garments for almost 20 years, and their primary work since 2012 is the production of footwear, as reported by Infobijeljina.

“About 95 % of our production is related to footwear production, and we used to produce only for our foreign partner Diador from Italy by 2017. This year, we extended our offer to the domestic market and launched the brand of anatomical footwear “Kondor”,” said the owner of this company, Dragan Bilic.

The key problem for this company is the bad electricity supply, which is the reason why they cannot realize their plan to further expand the production, but they are working on solving that issue.

Currently, there are about 100 employees in this company, and women make up 90 % of the collective.

This factory is planning to increase their production capacity with its foreign partner in the next year.

“We are planning to launch another production line for our foreign partners from January 2018, as well as to extend the domestic production line, with which at least 50 new workplaces will be opened,” concluded Bilic.
