In the past 24 hours, seven new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in the Sarajevo Canton (CS) out of 223 tested. It is important to point out that for the first time in 83 days, there were no deaths in CS as a result of the infection.

In the same period, 22 people recovered from Covid-19. Of the mentioned number of newly infected, four of them, or 57.15 percent, belong to family clusters or contacts with previously infected people, which is why they are in self-isolation from before.

Currently, 117 people are hospitalized, of which 66 are at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), and 51 patients at the General Hospital “Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakas”.

There are four people using respirators, all at the KCUS, and in the past 24 hours, no patient has been discharged from hospital treatment, Klix.bawrites.

Today, Sarajevo Canton records 527 active cases of Covid-19 infection. Currently, 2,671 of our fellow citizens are in self-isolation.

The total number of those infected in CS is 52,233, and the deaths are 1,254, while 50,452 people have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic.
