For the first Time ever, BiH collected more than 10 Billion BAM from Indirect Taxes

For the first time since the establishment of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA), revenues from indirect taxes exceeded the amount of 10 billion BAM.

More precisely, on Friday, December 8th, 2023, a total of 10 billion, 50 million, and 302 thousand BAM was collected on the Single Account of the ITA.

These are revenues from VAT, excise, customs, and tolls.

According to the trends in the collection of income from indirect taxes by the end of 2023, it is expected that the ITA will collect about 10.6 billion BAM.

It should be recalled that during the entire year 2022, a total of 9 billion and 926 million BAM was collected.
