Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian spoke yesterday at the Doha Forum about the situation in the Middle East and where Hamas and Hezbollah get their weapons.
Amir-Abdollahian said that Hamas and Hezbollah buy weapons from the black market, especially from Ukraine.
“They can get whatever they want from Ukraine,” Amir-Abdollahian explained.
He added that the political leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, personally told him that “Hamas can fight this way for years.” He pointed out that Iran and Israel have only one thing in common.
“The only thing that Iran and Israel share is that they don’t believe in a two-state solution,” he emphasized.
Furthermore, he reiterated Iran’s proposal to hold a referendum to determine the fate of Palestine, in which only the descendants of those who lived there before 1948 would be allowed to vote.
Iran’s foreign minister confirmed that they received messages from the United States (U.S.) about attacks on U.S. bases in Iraq and Syria.
Amir-Abdollahian denied the involvement of Iran and added that the conflict “has already spread”.
“At any moment there could be a regional explosion,” Amir-Abdollahian added.
At the 21st Doha Forum, a dialogue platform that represents the diversity of viewpoints, perspectives, and interests of people around the world, leading world officials, political and business leaders, and representatives of civil society gathered to exchange opinions, ideas, and visions related to the topics of the Forum, Klix.ba reports.
