Foreign Media: Jannik Sinner and Laila Hasanovic Living Together in His Monte Carlo Apartment

After months of rumors that Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner is in a relationship with a model of Bosnian and Herzegovinian (BiH) origin, Laila Hasanovic, foreign media claim that the couple is together and that they live in Monte Carlo.

Namely, when Sinner had a match in the fourth round of the US Open at the end of August, he further raised suspicion because of the background on his phone. The locked screen displayed a photo of a girl, which made many suspect that it was indeed Laila Hasanovic. But it would soon be established that it was indeed one of the photographs of Laila Hasanovic.

Now, the United States (U.S.) media reported that new news about the couple has appeared in Italian newspapers. The co-owner of the Santo Gelato pastry shop in Monte Carlo, Nicoletta Stampfl, told Italian media that “Sinner and Laila Hasanovic live in the La Condamine district in Monte Carlo.”

“Our shop is right below their building. I really liked Laila. She is kind, just like Jannik. She is beautiful, she behaves and dresses very simply. In short, she is a very natural girl,” said Nicoletta Stampfl.

Otherwise, Sinner moved to Monte Carlo in 2020 to train, so it makes sense that Laila visits him there.

Before going to the U.S. for the US Open, the co-owner of the pastry shop added that Sinner and Hasanovic came for ice cream.

“They sat outside for quite a long time. No one bothered them. You see, Monte Carlo is extraordinary for that reason. People don’t care if some important person is sitting in front of the pastry shop. They don’t ask for autographs or take photos,” she said.

It should be mentioned that Laila Hasanovic was born in Denmark, and she often visits Srebrenica. In 2019, she entered the finals of the Miss Universe Denmark pageant.

She became known to the wider public two years ago, after it was published that she was in a relationship with Mick Schumacher. She was even one of the rare people outside the family who was allowed to visit his father, Michael Schumacher.
