Former Bosnia and Herzegovina national team captain Emir Spahic is successfully recovering from a severe car accident he suffered on August 30th in Gacko.

After 24 days of treatment, Spahic recently left the hospital, and according to a photo published by longtime physiotherapist and Emir’s friend Ismar Hadzibajaric, he is recovering well.

Spahic is still in the BiH capital, and it can be expected that treatment will continue in his hometown of Dubrovnik after some time.

After surgery in Trebinje he was transferred by helicopter to Clinical University Centre Sarajevo, Klix.ba news portal reports.
