On 22 December 2020, two days after the historical election in Mostar, a patrol by the Austrian company of EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion visited LOT House in this historical town. On the way to Mostar the patrol passed by the memorial Bridge on the Neretva River in Jablanica.

The first stop in Mostar was the Stadium where the patrol inspected a helicopter landing side and its current condition. After that the patrol linked up with the Liaison Observation Team (LOT) House in Mostar, which is manned by soldiers from Switzerland, one of 20 troop contributing countries that combine to make up EUFOR.

The LOT Commander gave an update to the patrol on the COVID-19 situation in the vicinity of Mostar, the general mood of the population due to the pandemic and its consequences as well as the situation regarding the continuation of the general strike of the Healthcare workers in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC) who are fighting for better working conditions.
