Dragan Covic, Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has joined Bakir Izetbegovic, Nikola Spiric and Sefik Dzaferovic, who have given up part of their salary to help the most vulnerable in BiH.

“At a time when solidarity is intensely proving to be a key element of society, I urge my colleagues from Parliamentary Assembly to work together to support those who need help the most at the moment,”Covic wrote on his Twitter profile.

Covic called on all parliamentarians to donate salaries for the month of March in order to help the charity.

“This way, I thank my colleagues Izetbegovic and Spiric for their willingness to donate their salaries for the month of March in order to channel the raised funds to charity. We urge everyone else in Assembly to do the same,”Covic wrote on Twitter.
