Auto 4×4 Club is organizing two car races called “10th Igman Hill Climb Race” and “Formula Driver Igman 2025”, which will be held on the section of the Hadzici – Igman road.

The hill climb car race “Igman 2025” will be held in Sarajevo on July 5th and 6th, after a break of almost 20 years, on the R442A road section in Hadzici towards Igman. The track is 3.100 meters long. Today, July 5th, training will take place at 3:00 p.m., and tomorrow, July 6th, the race is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Drivers will be divided into classes determined by the sports regulations for the hill climb racing discipline.

The Formula Driver car race “Igman 2025” will be held over two days (July 5th and 6th) as two separate races on the same track.

All drivers who possess a category “B” driver’s license can participate, and they will be divided into 10 classes depending on the engine capacity of the car with which they compete.

The hill climb race and Formula Driver will be organized with the aim of bringing this sport back to Hadzici and Sarajevo, which was once the largest auto-moto center in former Yugoslavia, as well as popularizing it in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The FD category of motorsport is becoming increasingly popular in Europe and allows participation even for drivers who do not own top-class sports cars. The announcement of the winners and an exhibition of racing vehicles will be held on the main street near the Hadzici Municipality today and tomorrow, and the Parc ferme is organized at the Technical-Repair Institute, just like 20 years ago.

The hill climb race “Igman 2025” will count for the BIHAMK – FIA Championship in BiH, and the Formula Driver for the BIHAMK – FIA Cup in BiH.

These races are held as part of the “Hadzici Summer” event.

Traffic on the R442A road, in the lower part of Igmanska Street in Hadzici towards Igman, will be suspended today, July 5th, and tomorrow, July 6th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
