Keith Ippel, the founder of the Canadian Spring University for Entrepreneurs, is staying in a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina from December 12 until December 16, within the Swiss Entrepreneurship Program.
Keith came to BIH with the aim to help the domestic startup organization in developing programs of pre-acceleration and acceleration and to provide more information about the concept of social entrepreneurship. Last week he shared his experience and knowledge about social businesses with the audience at the Belgrade Venture Forum.
Keith will share his experience in that domain with organizations Mozaik (mozaik.ba) and START from Banja Luka, while he will talk about aspects of angel investments with Networks (networks.ba), HUHB 387 (hub387.com) and students of the International Burch University (ibu.edu.ba) in Sarajevo.
Keith has over 15 years of experience in developing young and middle companies through improving their business strategies and models. He created a series of programs of incubation, acceleration, and financing implemented at the Spring University, the global school for startups and entrepreneurs. Probably his most important skill for domestic startup companies is his experience in raising investments in a very early stage of startups because he successfully provided over 15 million USD of investments in startups in the early stage.
His mission is to connect entrepreneurs with advanced tools, resources, and technology with the aim of transforming ideas into businesses that launch positive changes in the world. He is the advisor to several companies throughout the world, including HootSutie, Control and LeftStuff. Keith has been holding workshops and mentoring companies around the world for years, trying to reinforce entrepreneurship ecosystems and social progress.
