Four Persons were arrested in the ‘Lager’ Operation

The Banjaluka police arrested four people from the town of Potkozarje near Banjaluka on suspicion of causing material damage of 35,000 BAM to the public enterprise “Šume Srpske” – Forestry of Banjaluka by illegal logging, the Banjaluka Police Administration announced.

In the “Lager” action, aimed at preventing illegal forest cutting and the sale of wood assortments, persons whose initials are M.R, D.R, J.D. were arrested yesterday. and M.D., suspected of having committed five criminal acts of devastation of forests in the town of Šimići from May 26 to October 5, and illegally cut a total of 211 cubic meters of firewood, according to the announcement.

All measures within the action were taken under the supervision of the duty prosecutor of the Banjaluka District Public Prosecutor’s Office.
