The City of Tuzla marked April 4, the date when in 1992 the Assembly of the municipality reached a Decision on organizing and providing resistance to the aggression on Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Tuzla region.
Flowers were laid on the memorial Slana Banja and tribute was paid to the victims of the war.
Delegation of the City laid a wreath on the memorial plaque on the building where the session of the Assembly of Tuzla Municipality was held on April 4, 1992. Following this, a solemn session of the City Council was held, where the Chairman of the Council Jozo Nišandžić and the Mayor Jasmin Imamović addressed those present.
Participants in the cultural part of the program were members of clubs of the University cultural-artistic society “Zvonko Cerić” and singer Nedžad Salković.
After the session, joint marking of the day of local communities Mosnik, Mejdan, Jala and Sjenjak was held and anniversary of the founding of the First Maneuver Troop of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina-Public Safety Station Tuzla was marked.
Flowers were also laid at the memorial in the local community Husino, where the completion of reconstruction of roads in total length of three kilometers was also made official.
