tramFour trams were delivered in Sarajevo on Tuesday, as part of donation of the city of Konya from the Republic of Turkey.

“Trams will be in function in 10 to 15 days, since we have to first conduct some minor adjustments on the wheels, due to the fact that the radius of the wheel tracks is wider in Turkey than in B&H,” said the director of GRAS, Avdo Vatrić.

He emphasized that the overall shipment of trams will last for four or five months more due to the fact that the vehicles will be delivered gradually.

Konya donated a total of 20 trams to GRAS, and with one of them that is already on the streets of Sarajevo and four that just got delivered, 15 more vehicles are waiting for their trip to B&H.

Sarajevo has a strong and continuous cooperation with the Turkish brotherly and friendly cities of Istanbul, Ankara, Konya and Bursa.
