Laboratory analysis of 352 samples confirmed 14 new cases of coronavirus infection in Sarajevo Canton. The analysis was performed in the past 24 hours on samples collected in the period from September 24 to 26 this year.
Of this number of newly infected, eight people or 57.14 percent belong to family clusters or contacts of previously ill, and are in self-isolation from before. In the previous 24 hours, 18 people recovered, so that the number of active cases of coronavirus infection in Sarajevo Canton is 222.
There are 27 people in hospital at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo in Podhrastovi. Since the last report, there have been no deaths, so that the total number of deaths from coronavirus infection has remained 81.
To date, 4,545 people have been confirmed to be infected with the virus in the Sarajevo Canton, of whom 4,242 have recovered from COVID infection. There are 573 people in self-isolation.
