Republika Srpska (RS) is confiscating properties of former Bosniak inmates, who had earlier filed lawsuits against this BH entity, seeking to be paid for tortures that they have experienced in some of the camps of the Army and Police of RS during the aggression on B&H in the period from 1992 to 1995.
BH news agency Patria has in its possession the verdict that came to the address of a former Bosniak camp inmate Meho Halilic from Banja Luka on the 20th of October this year, in which the Basic Court in Banja Luka is warning him to pay court costs in the amount of 7,000 BAM to Republika Srpska, or the court police will execute the confiscation of his movable property on the 5th of November.
Army and police of RS was taking Halilic away from Banja Luka to battlefields to perform forced labor, where he suffered tortures in the period from 1992 to 1995. A few years ago, together with other camp detainees from Banja Luka, he filed a lawsuit against the RS, seeking compensation for tortures in the camps. Instead of compensation, the Basic Court in Banja Luka ordered Halilic to pay legal costs in the amount of 7000 BAM to the entity or he will lose his property.
