Franciscan Museum in Fojnica nominated for the European Museum Award 2017

franciscan-museum-fojnicaMuseum of the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Spirit Fojnica was nominated for the European Museum Award 2017. The decision was made by the jury which held a session in Frankfurt from December 1 until December 15 last year.

The museum from Fojnica competes with 49 European museums and presentation of the winner and the formal EMYA award ceremony will be held during the annual Assembly of the European Museum Forum from May 3 until May 6 in Zagreb, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of Croatia and the European Council.

This year is special for the European Museum Forum because the 40th anniversary of the European Museum Award is being marked.
